Center for Advanced Studies and Education (CASE)

EHU's Center for Advanced Studies and Education (CASE) fosters and supports interdisciplinary research on post-Soviet transformational processes in Central and Eastern European borderlands (Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine). The Center works to strengthen local capacity for new research, creates and promotes new interdisciplinary scholarly networks in the region, and seeks to improve the quality of teaching in the humanities and social sciences. The Center publishes books and a cross-disciplinary quarterly journal called Crossroads Quarterly. CASE was established at EHU in 2003 and is funded by the Carnegie Corporation of New York.
